After the Destroy Boys set, I had to hustle over to the Coors Light stage for Death Angel. I knew that the stage was in this little bottom part of the festival grounds, but I had no idea that it was about a 10 minute walk. I made that walk 6 times on Thursday, and the set schedule is so tight that you can’t watch the end of a set at one stage and make it to the start of the set at the other. I missed the start of this set, and only filmed 1 complete set out of the 5 that day.
Also, even though I was very appreciative of this extra fest day with bands I really wanted to see, it was obvious that the Coors Light stage was not meant to be used after dark. The lighting was terrible and my camera couldn’t handle it- it was a focus nightmare the entire time. Sorry in advance. Coors light stage was just like the beer- weak and sh*tty. This was the only one that turned out decent because the sun hadn’t set yet.
