Dark Sun Skypilot- Blue Lamp, Sacramento CA 10/23/09

Guitar God Mike Farrell plays “Double Agent” and “Mirage, Mirage”, at his Sacramento debut performance on October 23, 2009 at the Blue Lamp. Special Guest Steve Vanoni on Sax for “Double Agent”, reliving earlier days with Sex66 to our delight. And “Mirage Mirage” shows off the multi-instrumentalist talents of the lovely Liani Moore, playing guitar, keyboard and violin all on the same song. Local faves Mike Curry on drums and Shawn Hale on bass complete this group of veteran musicians.

NOMEANSNO- Harlow’s, Sacramento Ca 10/17/09 xfer f/master or 1st gen DV tape w/Soundboard Audio

Here is the last set from Brian Mckenna’s “40/20” birthday celebration back in 2009. This one sounds great and looks good too. The only issue is that the camera cuts off drummer John Wright for a good portion of the set. Still a killer long set from the band. In fact, they shut the lights off because it was 2am- the legal curfew for bars in California. Then they sing Brian Happy Birthday and tell everyone to GTFO. Lol.

Mike Watt & the Secondmen- Harlow’s, Sacramento Ca 10/17/09 xfer f/DV Master Tape Minutemen Soundboa

These DV Masters from Brian McKenna’s 20/40 celebration are nice. Soundboard audio and pretty nice picture quality. This is the second to the last one from Anonymous 2’s collection from this show. Mike Watt with a drummer and a keyboard player, billed as “Mike Watt”. It’s pretty cool.
