The Stooges performed by Jesus & the Dinosaurs- Cafe Colonial Sac 10/26/19 4K UHD Halloween Iggy Pop
Probably the most obvious band choice for the Halloween show was Jesus & the Dinosaurs doing The Stooges… since they have that early Detroit sound down in their regular band. Good set despite some tech issues.

Jesus & the Dinosaurs- Cafe Colonial, Sacramento Ca. 9/27/19 4K UHD Live
I had a work event until late on Friday so I missed Lamonta (who sound great btw) and most of the O’Mulligans’ sets. There was a guy who was with the band shooting with a couple of cameras. If you see this and want to use this footage, please contact me at shaynestacy@hotmail.com.
While I still miss the original wild & flailing armed drummer, the band is much tighter with the “new” guy. They have quite the following.

So, I was really bummed to see that the wild drummer with the huge hair was no longer in the band, but the new guy was great! Things got a little wild during the set- they had some technical difficulty and they knocked the power out at the end. Wild times at the Colony.

Jesus and the Dinosaurs- Cafe Colonial, Sacramento Ca. 7/18/16 Multicam
I’ve been wanting to see Jesus & the Dinosaurs for a while now, ever since Lee Osh was raving about them last year. They did not disappoint- the drummer is the most animated I have ever seen. This was definitely a fun band to watch.
