Here’s another one from Jordan Wolfe’s collection. They filmed the venue marquee and the flyer this time, so no venue/date mystery on this one

Can anyone help with the name of this band, or venue? They opened for Final Summation.

A very rare recording of the band Sacramento, live at Old Ironsides.
Photos by Jay Spooner Photography, thanks Jay! One thing always comes to mind with this band, the tupperware kick drum that the drummer used. This band was known for its impromptu gigs around town. Using all battery powered gear, they would set up on sidewalks outside of clubs (during a club show) and places like light rail cars, where they were generally not welcomed. The singer was so used to using his own mic on his battery powered P.A. that it took a minute before he started using the mic on stage to sing this night. Sacto Rock City!
This one is from Guerin Myall’s collection. It was labeled “White Kaps Hogie DI Show”. So off I went and tried to figure out what all that meant.
There was a venue called Hogue Barmichael’s in Newport Beach that was open until about 2015. According to White Kaps’ website, DI and White Kaps played there on 6/10/05. That sounds like the right time frame, let’s go with it.
I think this is a 2nd angle filmed by “Jeff”. That’s all I’ve got. This will be edited together as a multicam once all of Guerin’s tapes are digitized.
