Danny Reynoso- Holy Diver, Sacramento Ca. 10/5/21 Solo set with The Knockoffs, Secretions Songs GH5S

First off, here is a PSA for you- you will want to either subscribe to the http://www.sacramentomusicarchive.com website email alerts list, or join the sacramento music archive facebook group. Just today, one of our friends posted a Misfits set from Aftershock this past weekend. You’re not going to hear about it on the 3 cameras and a microphone YT channel, so go check it out there!
So, what does this have to do with my good friend Danny? He opened for Bobby Steele’s (Misfits) band The Undead solo back in 2018. In fact, I think this show and the 2018 show may be the only ones he has done solo.
Fun set which includes choice covers and some songs from his bands. The biggest crowd reaction came during “3 Chords and a F*ck You” (Secretions), which was cool to see. Man, their popularity has endured.

Danny Secretion Band- Cafe Colonial, Sacramento Ca. 11/18/17 5 Camera Multicam w/ Rode VPS Audio Secretions Set

Man, this was such a great show. Danny doing all of the Secretions’ hits with an all-star band- Bear Williams & Joe McKinney on Guitar, Matt Bennett on bass, and Jeffrey Hollandsworth on drums. I think that Danny sounded so good because he was able to concentrate on singing, rather than drums + vocals.
Thanks to Jim McLain for giving his 2 angles to contribute to the project.

Equipment Used: 2 Canon HFG30, Gopro Hero 4 silver, 2 of Jim McLain’s cameras.

Secretions- Luigi’s, Sacramento Ca 11/17/12 HD Master Groovie Ghoulies Cover Set!

Quite a while back, Danny had bands play full cover sets of other bands during his F*ck Cancer show. The Secretions played and covered The Groovie Ghoulies for 45min. They did a great job, and it was fun to hear the songs live again. At this point, the Ghoulies had been broken up since 2007 and I don’t recall Kepi playing any electric sets with Ghoulies songs, so this was a rare treat.
Also, I missed posting yesterday. Now that I can enhance video, add better audio, and now do AI upscaling (new PC!), every video I check needs work before posting. Also, the holidays are packing my family schedule so I don’t have enough time to work them. Audio is fast and I can put one up every day. I will try my best to work a backlog of video uploads. I think I have better audio for this one and this could have used a degrain, but just went ahead and posted it because it is still awesome.

Danny Secretion’s Lame-Ass Birthday Bash- St. Francis Social Hall, Sacramento 11/5/05 w/ Broken Promises, Final Summation, Secretions, Cinco Manos

Since today has been a horrible day, here is something to cheer everyone up- Danny’s birthday show from 2005, where local bands cover other local bands!
Here are the notes of Mr. Ken Doose:
Broken Promises covered Mynock, False Color Image and a few others, Final Summation covered the Whiskey Rebels, Secretions covered the Knockoffs and Cinco Manos covered the Groovie Ghoulies.

Cinco Manos features Mickie Rat (Secretions) on vocals, Danny Secretion (Secretions/Knockoffs) on guitar, Tom Hutchinson (Knockoffs) on guitar, Skott Tastrophe (the Shenanigoats) on bass and Bear Williams (Final Summation) on drums. Well, that’s the bands that they were in at the time.

Thanks for the info Ken!
