Elsah- North Gate Tavern, Baton Rouge La 9/15/04 xfer from Hi8 Master tape enhanced alt country

Happy Sunday everyone! While we try to get Neil Werries’ multicamera angles of The Gourds to work together for edits (it has been a long painful process), let’s post a video of his band. I think this is the longest set that he had- almost 2 hours. There is a 5-10 minute part of the video where the camera gets bumped and is pointed at the ceiling, but that gets corrected2. Sounds pretty good.

T.S.O.L. – Catalyst, Santa Cruz Ca 9/5/04 Transfer from Hi8 Master Tape True Sounds of Liberty TSOL

Man, do I appreciate Guerin for filming this show. I was not filming concerts in 2004 so I totally missed this tour with not one, but TWO of my favorite bands. Audio is a bit distorted on this one- this footage looks and sounds a lot like one of my old Sony TR-81 camera recordings. Loved that camera.

D.I.- Catalyst, Santa Cruz 9/5/04 transfer from Hi8 master tape Complete Show Casey Royer Punk DxIx

This one is from Guerin Myall’s collection. Most of his masters are in DV format but he has a stack of Hi8 masters and there is a lot of really cool stuff in here. There is some tape damage so please bear with the glitches.
This one is just marked “DI/TSOL 9/5/04”. Thanks to the list, I was able to confirm that this is from the Catalyst. Thanks Steve!

T.S.O.L.- 924 Gilman, Berkeley Ca 9/4/04 xfer from low gen soundboard tape True Sounds of Liberty

Here’s one from Robert Eggplant’s collection today. This one just said “TSOL Gilman”, so I started researching the times that they played Gilman, and this date makes the most sense. Especially since I have a D.I. board tape from this set of tapes that is from 2004, according to Eggplant’s HAND TYPED list of notes for these tapes.
