The Bananas- Old Ironsides, Sacramento Ca. 3/30/17 Punk Live Multicamera w/Schoeps Audio

I’m glad I was able to make it out to Old I and see this great lineup earlier this year: Watt/Toys that Kill/Bananas. This was the first time I got to see The Bananas, after all these years. Good set. I learned that Old I is a tough place to multicam in. Thanks to Jim McLain for the use of his angle(it is the center angle from the ceiling mount), Jason Ellis for use of his Schoeps audio recordings, and Agelos for the edits. Enjoy!

Anime Aliens- Press Club, Sacramento 3/30/17 Multicam w/ Rode VPS audio

Since my buddy Agelos is busy getting married (congrats friend), Charlie Passarell has been helping out with some multicam edits. Here is his own band, Anime Aliens from Press Club a couple of months ago. Recommended if you like anime & video game themes, along with guitar jamming. As an aside, I finally figured out how to get a decent video from Press Club. This one sounds great because I put the mic on the right camera. Filmed with 2 Canon HFG30 & 1 Canon HFG10.

Generacion Suicida- Black Lodge, Seattle Wa. 3/24/17 Canon HFG30 Rode Video Pro

This weekend was crazy- I woke up at 4:30am on Friday, worked all day in Hillsboro, and then drove to seattle to see the first Proletariat show of 3 within a 24 hour timeframe. Generacion Suicida opened the Seattle show. I think I know why they call this place the “Black Lodge”- there is only one hanging light behind the band, so they are in darkness while they play. At least it sounds good. Filmed with a Canon HFG30 and rode video pro stereo mic.
