Deftones- San Jose Events Center 10/17/00 xfer from 8mm master tape Enhanced

Here’s another one from Gary Shurtleff (fromthenosebleeds on yt). Here is Sacramento-based Deftones touring the White Pony release. Man, this one cleaned up nice- I captured this with the lossless setup and it really helped with the denoise. I guess it’s worth dealing with 100GB files all the time for this result.

7 Seconds- The Rotunda, Philadelphia Pa 10/7/00 xfer from master or low gen tape Hardcore

Here is a show that I received in a DVD trade years ago. It looks like it is a transfer off the master tape. In fact, hate5six posted another show from the night before from the day before this show.. so maybe this was a fest. I don’t have a filmer name, but the other set was recorded by Jim Keller, so I will assume he shot this one as well.
Insane show- crowd goes wild and swarms the stage for sing-alongs

Slobberbone- Capitol Garage, Sacramento Ca 10/4/00 xfer from DAT Master Coresound Mics

About 22 years ago, I blind emailed Slobberbone’s tour booking agency, Hello! Booking, with hopes of bringing Slobberbone to Sacramento. I hooked Hello up with Charles Twilling from Cap Garage and they made it happen- thanks to both of them for bringing one of my favorite bands to town.
I introduced myself to the band and asked if they would play one of my favorite songs, 16 Days. They were clearly not on board with the idea, but they did it for me. Thanks!
I had thought that my recording sounded lousy at the time, but it doesn’t sound too bad given the circumstances. It’s a mystery as to why I didn’t use my Roland MX5 mixer through the board. I must have had an issue with cables or instruments weren’t mic’d. I can’t remember.
Charles brought Slobberbone back to Sac 2 more times. Forever appreciative for that.

I.G.D.- Berkeley, Ca. 2000 Xfer from band VHS tape Enhanced Infectious Garage Disease IGD

Here’s an outdoor street party show from Mike Parisi’s bag of VHS tapes. He was the drummer in this late-era version of IGD. They played on the back of a flatbed truck- Mike said his back was up against the cab of the truck. It looks like one hell of a party- everyone looks hammered. Clearly this isn’t the complete set, but nice to see such good quality video of Jimmie.
