April 5, 2014 at Old Ironsides. Final song of the night at Paul Niklewicz’s 50th birthday celebration, which also included sets by Go National, I Love Ethyl and Go, Dog. Go!. Thanks to Shayne for use of his camera angle, it was not an easy shoot.

Here’s one that I video’d for today’s On This Date in History. I think that Jim Mclain video’d as well- he used my angle along with his to do multicams of Go National and Go Dog Go from the same night.. but I didn’t see this one on his channel.
I Love Ethyl was a band from Sacramento who was active in the 80s, releasing 1 full length on John Baccigaluppi’s Mad Rover Records. I think this was the first time that they had played in a long while, and the last time they have played since.
Recorded by: Shayne Stacy
Equipment used: Canon HF G10 and Rode Videomic Pro Stereo
