Drams- Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studios, Denton Tx 12/9/06 xfer from master-CDR Slobberbone Big Star
I pulled this one for today’s On This Date in History because there isn’t enough Drams out there- they were such a great band. For those who missed it, the Drams were 3/4 of Slobberbone(everyone except Brian) along with Chad Stockslager and Keith Killoren from Budapest one. One excellent album in the mid-2000’s and then done.
The band does pretty much the entire album and covers by Slobberbone, Buffalo Springfield, and Chris Bell(Big Star).
Also, Adam Richards (the taper here) deserves some recognition for all of his Dallas area recordings, going way back to the late 90s I believe. Adam, are you still recording stuff?
Man, these sound professional mics sound great. Maybe I should have bought these and saved myself a couple grand. haha.

Mudhoney- Sabala’s Portland, OR 12/1/06 xfer from 8mm master video with improved Nakamichi CM300 Aud
Here is an upgrade of one of Craig Babb’s videos I posted a few months ago. It has some great footage but the audio was distorted pretty badly. I saw someone post their recording of the show using nakamichi cm-300 mics and it sounds amazing! I asked Derek Purtell to help me synch this (not easy with 2 analog sources with cuts) and he did a great job as usual.

Thanks to the taper who gave the ok for his audio to be used.
Mudhoney- Sabala’s Portland Or 12/1/06 xfer from master tape enhanced
A couple years back, Barry Ward sent me a collection of master videotapes from his friend Craig. It took me forever to get to these, but I got these digitized last summer and now I am enhancing and posting them. This video is great but audio on is pretty distorted- I checked the usual places and could not find a good audio recording to match up. Let me know if one exists.
