Jr Adelberg also played that Little Tents show. It looks like they were busy right after this- they released a record, went to sxsw and toured a little, then broke up in April of 2017.

Wow, I found a Little Tents show I never posted. This may have been their last show ever. They have been gone (over a year and a half) longer than they were together. 😦 I loved them, such a unique band.

I don’t know if you heard the news, but Little Tents is playing again tonight at Café Colonial! Get your butts over there! I will probably try to show up as well. This was a good show. The only downside was that Lemuria brought their own soundboard and Little Tents did not really get a chance to soundcheck, so the vocals are buried. Adam’s drums sound HUGE though.

Here is Lemuria’s set from last night. They were SUPER bassy and you can see some vibration in the camera. I was up in the sound booth(thanks Andrew) since that was the best angle, and I was trying to dampen the vibration with my jacket. It worked, kinda. Sorry for the sloppy camerawork. I was not used to filming from that spot- it’s a bit different!

I did not know much about Mikey’s music, but I heard a lot of good things. I am glad I filmed, he was great and probably the most energetic performance I have ever seen with 1 guy and a guitar. He has a solo CD called Tentative Decisions that I picked up at the show, looking forward to checking it out.

John and Katie played a stripped down set of old Holiday Flyer songs last night at Old I. They sounded great. The set focused on the really early stuff. It sounds like they may be doing some shows later this year with a full band. Stay tuned.
