The Vacant- Cafe Colonial, Sacramento Charlie Stratford Benefit Memorial 10/21/22 Multitrack sbd

I want to thank Jakobe Ares Moreno for sending across these multitrack stubs- we were expecting The Deathryders’ set to synch with video, but the file had the entire show! Thank to Matt from the Cafe for getting this all recorded for us.
Here is The Vacant’s set- Charlie was the drummer for the band until he passed away, so Roger and band performed with no drummer. Short set, but the best quality Vacant recording I have heard.
Flyer/poster by Paul Imagine. This was the uncolored draft, I’ll use the final version for the rest of the posts.
If you would like to contribute to Charlie’s gofundme for final expenses, I will add the link in facebook commments.

The Vacant- Cafe Colonial, Sacramento 9/25/21 4K UHD Single Camera version R.I.P. Charlie Stratford

Charlie’s friends received shocking news yesterday that he passed away the night before. I did not know Charlie well, but he was nice to me the times that I approached him for permission to film his band. Charlie was one of the original punks in the Sacramento (Rancho Cordova) scene, becoming a father and becoming his brother Pat’s caregiver later in life.
Here Charlie is on drums with his band The Vacant. This was the last time that I saw them perform. A Gofundme has been set up for the funeral and to help the family through this. I will GFM post the link in comments.

Here’s an early one for you today. I was recently gathering up the raw angles for this set to send to Tromser for edit, and I discovered that we had edited this one over 2 years ago and I forgot about it. I wish I had posted it right when we finished it so Charlie could have enjoyed it.
The audio on this one is a bit rough- it is the Rode videomic pro, but this show took place before Chris and the cafe did all of the sound improvement work there.

Equipment used: Panasonic Lumix GH5S and either the 14-140 lens or the 25-75 lens w/Rode Videomic Pro Stereo; 3x Gopro Hero 7 black.
