Trash Talk- Midtown Barfly, Sacramento Ca. 10/20/16 Multicam

I had never heard of Trash Talk (had no idea that they were from Sacramento as well) until my buddy Agelos asked me to film the show. What a crazy show. Now I know what it is like trying to film a prison riot. There was one huge guy in the pit who really seemed like he wanted to clobber me and my camera. He kept running full-blast at me, but I was sitting on the back of a padded bench (like the ones you see in restaurant booths) and he kept bouncing off before hitting me. I wonder what his problem was, he probably needs a hug. Filmed with 2 HFG30, 1 HFG10 and a gopro for the drummer cam.

Dr. Know- Midtown Barfly, Sacramento Ca. 10/5/14 4 Camera Multicam Part 1!

Another great show by Dr. Know. The crowd went nuts at this one. I was talking to a friend from out of town afterward, and he shook his head and said “Sacramento really loves Dr. Know”. Who Knew? This one is a 4 camera edit with soundboard audio. Thanks to agelos and Bong for the editing work. Cam 1: HFG30 on stage Cam 2: HFG10 on tripod stage right Cam 3: HF200 in back of club on tripod Cam 4: Jesse Davis’ angle (Thanks Jesse!). You really need to see Dr. Know when they play. They are seriously better than the ’80s version!

This is part 1 only- you can find the rest of the show on Youtube

Equipment Used: HFG30, HFG10, HF200, Jesse Davis’ camera

7 Seconds- Midtown Barfly, Sacramento Ca. 8/16/14 Multicam with Rode Video Pro Stereo/Matrix audio

Big thanks to Jim Mclain for doing the edit and the audio matrix work on this one. I only filmed with 1 camera from the stage, and Jim had his camera at the back center of the club. The angles mixed pretty well together.
By the way, if you haven’t heard, Trust Records has announced a reissue of The Crew- pre-orders are up now!
I think this show took place during one of Sean Hills’ Punch and Pie fests

Recorded by: Shayne Stacy & Jim Mclain
Equipment used: Canon HFG10 & Rode Video Pro Stereo Mic, Canon HFR500 (I think)
Edit/Audio mix by Jim Mclain
