So this was supposed to be a 5 camera multicam, but I moved all day that day and was totally drained when I got to the club. I brought 5 cameras and found a way to screw everything up except for this one. On the bright side, it sounds pretty good. My friend Brian Kast gets a shout-out for wearing a 20 year old shirt to the show.

Here is Jim’s quasi-multicam of the Ian Faith set at the Cattle reunion. I was pleasantly surprised with their set- they had not played in a LONG time!

Here’s the Phallucy set from last Saturday. They were short a member or two, so they recruited a cast of Sacramento music legends to help fill in at times. Fun set and they sounded amazing- nice job by John Taylor.
Since I decided to come last-minute and Jim McLain had the multicamera video duties all covered, I decided to bring my new 4k DSLR camera to test it out. It was so new to me that I pulled the lens out of the shipping box while driving. I had no idea how to hell to use the camera and you can tell during anton barbeau’s set. I finally got it to an acceptable level after fiddling around with the controls while Anton was playing.

Ian Faith- Cattle Club 30th Anniversary, Harlow’s, Sacramento Ca. 5/11/19 4k Master Rode Sony A7Sii
Here is Ian Faith, playing for the first time in 30 years and likely the last time ever. It seemed that a lot of the crowd came to see them, as the club emptied out a bit after their set.
I learned that this Sony A7Sii is a total battery hog, so I was trying to charge one battery while using the other… and that method only got me about 20min of battery life per band after the first 3. So Ian, Phallucy and 58 Fury will be about this length as well…

I think this was my first time seeing 58 fury. Damned good band, I’m not sure how I missed seeing them in the past. My battery charges just got shorter and shorter as the night wore on, so this is only the first 15min of the set. Jim should be posting the entire set multicamera with better audio in the future.
Also, this is the 2,500th post to the Sacramento Music Archive. That kinda blows me away that we were able to get this far in only a year and a half. Thanks to everyone who has contributed- Jim McLain, Jesse Davis, Brian Kast, Keely Sadira Dorran, Ken Doose, Agelos Porf, Richard Brown, Lee Osh and many more I am forgetting.

Kepi Ghoulie- Harlow’s, Sacramento Ca. 5/11/19 4K HD Master Sony A7Sii Appetite for Adrenochrome Pt2
Here’s part 2. I need to find an MP4 file joiner so I can upload these in 4k as one file. The Sony is a notorious battery hog and I learned that you only get about 45min on a fully charged battery. Sorry for the gap- battery change.
I wasn’t planning on going to this show(I had family obligations), but Brian asked me to help with video projection, and Kepi announced that he was doing a special show with old songs. I did not know that Kepi was doing the ENTIRE Appetite for Adrenochrome album! Awesome! Not only that, but he had the all-star band of B-Face on bass and Jaz Brown on Drums. What a great show!! Thanks guys for the super unique show.

Here’s the FMK set. They were so tight and kicked so much ass that it seemed impossible that they have not played in years. I got about 35-40min of their LONG set. They did not exactly adhere to the 45min set time on the schedule.
