The Moans- Blue Lamp, Sacramento 3/26/15 Multicam Part 1

Here’s the Moans set, opening for MTX at the Blue Lamp. Sorry to Matt for cutting the top of your head off on the camera in the back.. and to Jeffrey for managing to miss getting him in the shot on every angle of a 3 piece band. That’s hard to do, but I screwed it up good! 🙂 It’s not that bad, and the band is great. Enjoy. Thanks to Agelos and Bong for the multicamera editing. I owe you another one.

MTX Mr. T Experience- Blue Lamp, Sacramento 3/26/15 Multicam with Matrix Audio Part 1

This was MTX’ “return”- a new lineup and first official gig in a few years. I am such a big fan that I was super excited for the show, which was announced at the last minute as a warmup for the mini-tour they did over the weekend. The audio is matrixed from 2 of the camera’s audience mic sources along with the soundboard. Thanks to Jason Ellis for the matrix work- its still a little heavy on vocals but it’s the best we can do. Thanks to Agelos and Bong, for providing the excellent edit job as usual!

Bad Religion- Musink Festival, OC Fairgrounds, Costa Mesa Ca 3/21/15 HD Multicam? Full Complete Show

Here’s a video for today’s “On This Day in History”.
I am a little confused with this one. My old friend Ryan McVay from Vulture Video sent us a couple of camera angles from this show to edit together, and this disc is labeled as a multicam. However, this looks like only 1 of the 2 camera angles. Maybe the other disc of this show in my collection was the multicam. Wouldn’t be the first time I made a mistake labeling discs. Oh well- I am taking the kids snow skiing today and leaving soon so this is what we all get.

Ill Repute- Observatory, Santa Ana Ca 3/17/15 HD Multicam Punk Nardcore

Here’s that 2nd Patreon Voter’s Choice video for you today. I swear I checked online to see if that Ignition video was out there and it didn’t come up.
This is one of the videos that Ryan McVay and Ryan McNamara shot- they would shoot individual angles and then after I met Ryan (Vulture Video) in 2014, he started sending me the angles so ⁨@PunksNotDeadGR⁩ could edit. This Patreon project made me realize how many of these we actually did. Much bigger scope than I remember.

Recorded by: Ryan McVay and Ryan McNamara
Equipment Used: Canon HF G20 and a 2nd unknown camera

7 Seconds- The Catalyst, Santa Cruz Ca. 3/8/15 Partial Audio Digital Soundboard

I think this was the second to last time I got to see 7 seconds. This was a total spur of the moment decision- I hadn’t planned on going, but I got the OK to record from Kevin so I did the 3+ hour drive on a work night. I’m glad I did it in retrospect, I really miss the band.
This soundboard was recorded by Guerin Myall and this is all that exists. There was a problem and the recording stops 11 minutes in.

7 Seconds- The Catalyst, Santa Cruz Ca. 3/8/15 Multicamera Live Video

When I posted 11 minutes of the soundboard audio from this show the other day, I realized that I never posted the multicam video we did. It is ok, some of the angles had issues (over exposure, halo effect) which is probably why I held it back. It was a great performance and the crowd was really into it. I never understood why Sacramento crowds did not appreciate them as much as out of town crowds.

Equipment used: Probably Canon HFG10 x2, HFM30, and Guerin’s cameras.
