I can’t remember the last time that I posted something a few hours after the concert took place, but I was pretty happy with this recording and I didn’t need to do anything to it- no EQ, no Izotope magic… thanks to standing on J’s side and Lou’s bass tone being schoeps friendly, we don’t get the typical schoeps bass overdrive.

It was a good show, and the band played together in a way that I had not seen in a long time. Lots of fun banter from Lou as well. They played my favorite song (Freak Scene) so I went away happy. I also shot video which will take my typical year backlog to process, lol.

Thanks to my friend Kirk for contacting me about the show and to Kurtis Bishop for the ticket donation– remember, we are a 501c3 nonprofit over here and donations are welcome!
