Citizen Blast Kane- Stanhope House, Stanhope NJ 10/25/15 Multicamera with DPA Audio

I was not familiar with CBK going into the weekend, but they proved to be a perfect choice of opening act for AOD. They are goofy new jersey hardcore like some other goofballs we know.. check out their videos if you have not seen them. Pretty funny stuff reminiscent (in theme) of the Mean Jeans. They are also super nice guys. The singer tracked me down while I was Filming Bedlam to give me my change. Filmed with 1 HFG30(that’s the camera that moves) and 2 HFG10. Audio courtesy of my Sony M10 audio recorder with DPA4061 mics. Thanks as always to Agelos for the edit- turned out nice this time. Enjoy!

Bedlam- Stanhope House, Stanhope NJ. 10/25/15 Punk NJHC Multicamera with Matrix Audio

Here’s the Bedlam set from Stanhope. They opened for AOD and Jack Steeples and Paul Richard played in the band! I think this one turned out a bit better than AOD that night. Thanks to Art Zawodny for the help in filming the show! Filmed with 2 Canon HFG10 and 1 Canon HFG30. Audio is a soundboard/DPA4061 mic audience matrix. For Lenny and Tommy.

Adrenalin O.D. OD- Stanhope House, Stanhope NJ 10/25/15 Multicamera with Matrix Audio!

Here’s the final night of the 2 show AOD “tour”. This show was more of a drunken party than the Bowery show, and it was a lot of fun. This was my first time seeing Jack Steeples play with the band- I saw AOD once at the Mab in 1987 with Keith on bass and Keith also played with them in NYC so that was a treat. Lenny from Buy Our Records & Bedlam came up on stage to do the spoken part at the beginning of Trans Am. Thanks to Art Zawodny for the help with filming, Agelos for the excellent edit work as usual, and Jason for the soundboard/audience audio matrix. This one was a good team effort. Thanks to the band for permission to film. One final note about this one- the stage has very uneven lighting- Paul had a bright white light on him, while Bruce had a low red light on him which makes filming a challenge. I set the 2 Canon G10’s to auto setting, which caused Paul to overexpose a bit, and set the G30 (the one stright back) manually, so Paul is lot properly there and everyone else is dark. Hope you still like it.

76% Uncertain- Bowery Electric, New York City 10/23/15 Multicam with Soundboard Audio

Here’s the 76% Uncertain set from the Bowery. I somehow managed to delete my audience recording of the show, so the audio is soundboard only. It still sounds great. Recorded with 2 Canon HFG10 and 1 Canon HFG30. Thanks to Agelos for the edit work and to Jason Ellis for the remix of the soundboard. Thanks to all the bands for permission to video.

Adrenalin O.D.- Bowery Electric, New York City 10/23/15 Multicamera with Matrix Audio!

This show made the trip to the east coast (and staying in DB central The Jane Hotel) totally worth it. Be sure to watch the entire thing so you can see the Pit Chicken, “The Bass Player” downing Bruce’s beer, and the shower of bills hitting the stage (and bruce picking them up as he played). The show totally exceeded my expectations. Thanks to Agelos for the excellent edit- this one was hard because the camera on the side of the stage was obstructed at times, and then shut off about halfway through. Thanks to Jason Ellis for the Soundboard/Audience matrix work. Thanks to Joe Vincent for supplying his footage (sorry we could not use it). Thanks to Bowery Electric for letting me film, even though there was nowhere to put cameras in there. Finally, thanks to the band. Filmed with 2 Canon HFG10 and 1 Canon HFG30 on a monopod. Audio source- Soundboard + DPA4061 mics.

Adrenalin O.D.- Bowery Electric, New York City 10/23/15 Part 1 Single Camera Version

We shot a 3 camera video of this show with soundboard/audience matrixed audio, but I checked out this raw footage last night and I thought it was suitable to post as is. I will post the multicamera one when it is done. What a show! Masterpiece performed 2x for money, and the threat of a third! Pit Chicken! And much more. It was one of the most entertaining shows I have seen in a long time. Filmed with a Canon HFG30 and internal microphone.

Point Blank- Bowery Electric, New York City 10/23/15 Multicam with Matrix Audio

Point Blank was the first band to play the AOD show back in October. When you have a band of this quality and pedigree (Danny Derella from Underdog) kicking off the night, you know it’s going to be a good show. The soundboard audio starts off a little shaky on this one, but improves greatly a few songs in. Enjoy! Thanks to the band for allowing me to video, to Agelos for his excellent as usual editing and Jason Ellis for the audio matrix work.

Mental Abuse- Bowery Electric, New York City 10/23/15 Multicamera with Matrix Audio

Here’s the Mental Abuse set opening for AOD. They sounded tight and really great. I just wish I could find a copy of their LP for less than $150. This one is only 2 cameras. I swear I turned the side stage camera on, but when I checked it at the end of the set, it was powered off. It’s still good. For Todd W. Thanks to Agelos for all of these great edits and to Jason Ellis for the nice audio matrix work. Filmed with 1 Canon HFG10(Tripod) and 1 HFG30 (monopod with zooms). Soundsboard + DPA4061 audience mic matrix.
