I have a fun filled day of garage cleaning and yardwork happening soon so let’s get this one out early. This continues the theme of “favorite artists I never got to see”. My friend Agelos filmed Dianno somewhat recently (last 5 years) and I realized that there was no way I was going to be able to see him from his health in that video. Unfortunately, I was right. Those first 2 maiden albums were classics and my all-time favorite records until thrash came along.
I got this one in trade somewhere and there was no lineage info, but it seems to be either a master video-digital, or a DV master to DVD. No gen loss at all. Unfortunately, the audio is complete trash. Another great candidate for a synch with better audio if any exists.
First 30 seconds is the DVD home screen, fwd past for all the distorted fun.

Bonus On This Date post! The Poison Idea show actually took place on 1/4/14, not 11/4/14.. so you get this instead. I probably should have picked this one in the first place.
This was a riot fest secret warm-up show for Naked Raygun’s return to the stage after a 9 year hiatus. They did one warmup show at Cobra Lounge in October, and then this. They were billed as Holyy Lazarski Nahane. You can tell that the crowd was pumped to see them- the crowd sing-along is INSANE. It’s a must listen just so you can hear the crowd, especially during Knock Me Down. Wow!
