Saxon- Ace of Spades, Sacramento Ca. 8/23/15 3 Camera Multicam w/Schoeps Audio!

This one has a bit of a story. I went to the show to film opening band Discordia, and to ask Saxon if they would allow me to film. I was surprised that their road/merch manager (who was wearing an Infest shirt!) gave me the ok. So I set up the 3 cameras and start filming the show. During the 2nd song, the tour manager comes over (outranks the road manager) and says “you can’t film””well, you can film, but not the entire show.” at the same time the Ace of Spades security guy is yelling “PUT YOUR STUFF IN THE CAR”. So, I complied, and shut down. Of course the show was amazing, with almost the entire set being from the first 4 albums. Thanks to Agelos for the edit and to Jason Ellis for the Schoeps audience recording. Nice! SO, here’s your 3 songs.

Jello Biafra & The Guantanamo School of Medicine- Harlow’s, Sacramento Ca. 8/14/15 Multicam sbd 4cam

I have to say, I have not paid too much attention to Jello’s projects after the DK’s until this one. What a great band. Ralf (from Victim’s Family) on guitar has that quasi-surf/punk tone reminiscent of EB Ray, but still unique. The songwriting is top notch. I am bummed that I did not catch up with them until recently. It was great catching up with all of the old man punk rock guys at the show- Ground Chuck, Kenny Beasley, Brian McKenna and Stewart Katz! 4 cameras edited by Jim Mclain- thanks jim for the amazing work! 1 HFG30, 2 HFG10, sbd/aud audio matrix, plus Jim’s camera (don’t know the model).

Desario- Ace of Spades, Sacramento Ca. 8/8/15 Multicam w/Schoeps Audio!

Opening for Echo and the Bunnymen, who shut me down completely (no 3 song rule for them!). Wow, this one turned out pretty nice but Ace of Spades’ blue lights drive me insane. 1 HFG30, 2x HFG10, edited by Agelos (really nice job). Audio by Jason Ellis with his Schoeps MKIV Mics.
