The Jayhawks- Troubadour, W. Hollywood Ca. 10/22/95 Xfer from Hi8 Master improved audio Black Crowes

Thanks to Heinz Vlatin for the better audio. The improved audio source is missing the first 4 songs, so if anyone has a complete set of decent audio, we are still looking!
Includes the encore with Chris Robinson.

The Jayhawks- Troubadour, W. Hollywood Ca 10/22/95 xfer Hi8 Master tape Chris Robinson Black Crowes

Here’s another awesome document from Steve Rogers. The classic Louris/Olson Jayhawks lineup with an appearance by Chris Robinson during the encores! If anyone has better audio, please let me know. I checked archive.org and 10/20 is up there, but not this show.

Snap-Her: 924 Gilman, Berkeley Ca 10/13/95 xfer from 1st gen soundboard cassette tape

Here’s another band I had not heard until now. It looks like they were from L.A. and were active from 1993-2002.. and I lived in the L.A. area from 1992-95. There was always a LOT going on down there and I missed so much good stuff.
Anyway, some of the members were in bands with some facebook friends. It looks like Andi Beltramo, the vocalist/guitarist, was in the Creamers with RJ Gallentine right before forming this band… and drummer Suzy (homewrecker) Owens was in Hollywood Hate with Scotty Wilkins.. but that was almost 10 years after this show.
From Robert Eggplant’s collection o’ Gilman soundboards. Thanks Robert!

Van Halen- Cal Expo Amphitheatre, Sacramento Ca. 10/13/95 xfer from 8mm master Enhanced upscale 1080

Another classic video from Gary Shurtleff’s collection of master tapes. Check out a lot more of his stuff at @bootlegcowboys – he was the main guy who filmed the arena, stadium, and amphitheatre stuff in the 90s.
I digitized all of his masters for him last summer, then denoised them to remove that 8mm grain and upscaled to 1080p. Looks nice.

Rancid- DV8, Seattle Wa 10/11/95 Audio only xfer from low gen cassette East Bay Punk

This one is an audience tape, but it sounds pretty decent so I figured I’d post it. There was a guy in the northwest who taped on DAT back in the 90s, but his recordings were usually a little more bass-heavy. Regardless, sounds like a pro walkman tape at minimum.

Lordz of Brooklyn- Sublime’s 3 Ring Circus Tour, Nor Cal, October 1995 xfer from Hi8 Master tape

Here is a short clip of a Lordz of Brooklyn show from Steve Rogers’ collection. This was on the October 1995 tour with Sublime. This looks like it could be the Phoenix Theater/Petaluma date on 10/28, but it is hard to confirm. Before the Sublime fans swarm me, there is no Sublime footage. Sorry.
