Fugazi- Gilman St. Project, Berkeley 5/20/89 VIDEO

This video is decent but not great. Gilman’s lighting was not very robust which left some of my videos dark and grainy. This is the best of the 2 Fugazi Gilman videos I shot. It was PACKED in there, so it was a challenging shot. I think I stood on my knees the entire time! Ow,

This is part 1. The rest of the show is on youtube- you can search by title.

Soundboard recording.

I don’t exact date for this show. The only thing I could find that listed the Well Hung Monks playing Gilman at all was an old Gilman calendar I found online. It listed them playing with Mr. T Experience, Crimpshrine, and Sweet Children on February 11, 1989. Though they aren’t listed in the show listing for that date in the 924 Gilman book by Brian Edge nor are they listed elsewhere in the book. Heck, I can’t even find a listing from when they were known as Oyster Toilet Mango. So, it could possibly be from that show or another Gilman show that they played wasn’t listed. All I know is that remember dubbing a copy of the tape from either Jim or Hal MacLean back in the eighties and “Gilman 1989” was written on their original tape. Maybe Hal could solve the mystery.

Correction: Hal confirmed that the date of the show is February 11, 1989. Date has been corrected. Thanks, Hal..
