Raven- Blue Lamp, Sacramento Ca. 10/26/14 Part 1 Multicam Metal NWOBHM

I could not believe NWOBHM legends played the tiny Blue Lamp in Sacramento. Even more surprising was the turnout- maybe 100 people showed up. What a bummer for them. Regardless, they put on a good show. Very energetic. Thanks to Bong for editing this together for me, despite not being a metal fan.

English Dogs- 924 Gilman, Berkeley Ca. 10/18/14 Muilticamera with remixed Soundboard Audio Live Punk

Here is an old one. We did not edit this one until now for a few reasons, including an uneven soundboard mix and grainy video angles. We were able to de-noise the video and remix the board to make it sound pretty good. Glad we waited.
This is the 100% punk, non-metal version of English Dogs. So if you are looking for any songs from “forward into battle” onward, you are out of luck.

Equipment used: Canon HF200, HFG10, HFG30. This might have been the first show I filmed with the G30.

Mass Terror- 924 Gilman, Berkeley Ca 10/18/14 Multicam with Soundboard Audio Enhanced Punk Hardcore

After 16 months of no punk shows, it looks like they are starting up again. That’s good news, because we were almost out of multicam footage to edit together! Haha. If you like your Sunday mornings to be PUNK with a side of punk, this one is for you. In all of their drunk, mohawked glory is Mass Terror, opening for English Dogs at gilman about 7 years ago.

Here’s the Mad Judy set, opening for Mean Jeans at Café Colonial. Cameras: HFG30 (handheld by me). HFG10 (behind the band, pointed at crowd), HF200(back of room semi obstructed). Mean Jeans- Colonial Cafe, Sacramento 10/13/14 3 camera Multicam w/Schoeps Audio! Part 1

I was really excited to see the Mean Jeans and they did not disappoint. They were incredibly gracious- they were so happy to get the 3 camera Kepi Ghoulie DVD that they appeared on last year. This show was excellent- the audio quality is a bit lacking, but that is not due to recording equipment- Jason has Schoeps MKIV’s that we mixed into this. Even with the club sound being less than stellar, it was a lot of fun. Thanks to Agelos and Bong for mixing the cameras!!
