Cracker- Autzen Stadium, 061894 xfer from dat clone audio only
don’t have access to wifi so I will attempt to post this to the website from my phone.
This show is probably my favorite cracker set ever. Opening for the grateful dead no less. Morgan fichter (CVB violin 1989-90) joined the band and they played a few songs from the 1990 camper van Beethoven set. Very nice surprise.

Cracker- Autzen Stadium, Eugene OR 6/17/94 audio only xfer from DAT clone opening for Grateful Dead
Cracker opened a 3 day run for the Grateful Dead in Eugene OR in 1994. This is the 1st of the 3 show run. This show is more of a standard Cracker set vs. the killer 6/18/94 set w/Morgan Fichter.

Meat Puppets- Condon School, Eugene Or. 1993-1994 time frame xfer from master videotape
I got busy yesterday and didn’t get a chance to post the daily weekend video, so here you go. This is another one from Gern’s collection of tapes I digitized a while back. This one has never been circulated.

Sleep- W.O.W. Hall, Eugene OR 2/18/94 xfer from master videotape enhanced Matt Pike WOW
Here’s a short one for you today, but it is pretty damn awesome. Here is a 7 minute clip that Craig Babb filmed of Sleep opening for Hawkwind back in 1994. This one was super dark so I brightened and fixed up the exposure before denoising. It sounds pretty good as well! Thanks Craig!

Hawkwind- WOW Hall, Eugene Or 2/18/94 xfer from master videotape W.O.W.
Here is the Hawkwind set- they were the headliner for the sleep show that I posted the other day. This looks like Nik Turner’s Hawkwind at a glance, but I do not know for sure.

Galaxy Trio- Max’s, Eugene Or. Mid-90s xfer from 8mm master tape enhanced Space Surf Rock
Here is another one from Craig Babb’s seemingly endless supply of master videos. There are still more to post, including a Cheezy Trolls one that people were asking about!
Anyway, this is from Max’s. I asked Craig about a date and he did not recall, so “mid-90s” it is.

Sow Belly- John Henry’s, Eugene Or Mid-90s xfer from 8mm Master Tape Enhanced Grunge
Happy Friday everyone! I have had this one in the youtube upload queue for 2 months, and finally reached out to Craig Babb to get a little more detail. This is a different Sow Belly show than one that was posted a while back.
Sow Belly were Chris Baxley, Joe Baxley, Mike Brilowski, and Seantos McDonald. They released a couple of cassettes on their own in the early 90s, and a self-released 7″ in 1991.

Galaxy Trio- Max’s, Eugene Oregon 1994 xfer from master video tape Surf Space Rock
Sorry for the late post today. Work has been hellish. Here’s yet another cool video from 25-plus years ago, courtesy of Craig Babb. All of these Galaxy Trio shows have made me a fan. Special appearance by tricky dick.

Jesus Lizard- WOW Hall, Eugene OR 11/9/92 xfer from master video tape enhanced
When I started to prep this one, I realized I made a mistake while transferring it. Some of these old tapes are dirty, or the tape sheds and dirties up the heads while it plays. I needed to clean heads constantly to get some tapes to transfer. I thought I got a clean transfer of this one, but it craps out at about 17 minutes- sorry about that. The video wasn’t much longer than this anyway, and it looks like there is another version of this show (amazingly) up on the internet as well.
If you ever wanted to see what a slow descent into dirty-headedness looks like, fast forward to 16min.
