Alright, I have been holding off on posting this because a certain band member still owes me, but since it is another member’s birthday, here you go. Happy Birthday Mike Parisi! Hi, a few facebook friends were at this one. Spot yourself in the crowd! Thanks to Jim Mclain for the nice center angle, and thanks to Agelos for the editing. None of these would be possible without him. Thanks also to Eric Bianchi for the excellent sound that day. I think Desario sounded incredible- their lush sound was perfect for hanging out with the bushes and stuff. 🙂

Mad Judy, Part 1, Shayne Stacy’s Birthday Sabbatical Bash, Orangevale, Ca, 8/31/13, Multicam, Video (Live Concert)

Mad Judy was the first band to play, and it was about 100 degrees and the “stage” was in the direct sunlight. I felt bad for them, so I went up and started spraying them with a water mist bottle, hitting guitars and microphones. I’m such a dork. Their set consisted of mainly (all? can’t remember) Replacements covers. Thanks Joe McKinney Audrey Motzer and the rest of the previously thanked folks.

Kevin Seconds, Part 1, Shayne Stacy’s Birthday Sabbatical Bash, Orangevale, Ca, 8/31/13, Multicam, Video (Live Concert)

Well, what can I say about this? Having Kevin play the party was like a dream come true. 7 Seconds is one of my all time favorite bands. I think a lot of all the bands that played that day, but Kevin is kind of a larger than life figure to me. He was super cool and hung out with everyone. Allyson Seconds also came on “stage” and sang beautiful harmonies. Kepi on drums. Thanks to all of you for making the birthday so great!!
