Hi, This one turned out pretty good for an old recording. Taped by me with my stepdad’s Montgomery Ward Boom Box. Enjoy!

I think Ken Doose and Lee Osh may care about this. Not sure if anyone else will. Here is another recording from my stepdad’s Montgomery ward boombox. That thing had some decent mics! If you listen closely, you can hear Jason Ellis and I going back and forth with our beavis and butthead-like banter. We were ahead of our time for being dumb asses, I suppose.

Hi, Here is my audio recording of crimpsrhine from Whole Earth. It was done with my step dad’s Montgomery Ward boom box. It turned out better than I remembered. Enjoy!

Happy Monday everyone. This one comes from Eggplant’s collection and the date is kind of a mystery. The tape says 4/30/9 and the rest is not legible. I checked Brian Edge’s 924 Gilman book and there were 2 shows on 4/30 in the 90s, and neither one of them had The Dwarves on the bill. Oh well. I tried.
The mix on this one is pretty rough to start, but I rebalanced it to sound decent at about 1 minute in, since that’s where the mix sits most of the time.
It’s always a good time trying to figure out how to use youtube’s decency filters/ratings. Hmm.. there is no setting for someone yelling “why don’t you sit on my face” 2 seconds into the recording… moderately shocking and offensive? Sure, let’s try that.

Since the setlist that Scott Torguson posted from this show seemed to get a big reaction from people, I decided to transfer the old tape. It does not sound great, but not terrible either. Recorded with a Montgomery Ward Boom Box with internal mics. Scott, I hope that it is ok to use your flyer image. Let me know if not.

Here is another one from Jozef Becker’s archive of TWR stuff, back when he drummed for the band. This one is another northeastern show, but not as nice of quality as the living room show. I tried enhancing the video, but it did not take since the picture has some generation loss.

Since that PF post yesterday was one of the more popular ones in the past couple months, I thought that I would fish out this audio recording of the show. There are at least 3 recordings of this show- this one (the best version), the one that anonymous made that has the “woo girl from hell” on it that totally destroys the recording, and one that I got from a big floyd fan in town right when the concert happened. This one is far superior.

Here’s a bonus post for today- some funny interviews with fans leaving the show.
This is bizarre- This stikky song is on the master soundboard tape, right after No Use for a Name. Stikky were not listed on the flyer as playing on 4/15/88, but Chris was there with NUFAN I think. Maybe the band hopped up on stage and played a song on NUFAN’s equipment. Maybe this is from a diffrent show. Who knows.
