This one is probably the best all around quality FS show that I have transferred so far. Good lighting. The audio is still distorted, but not quite as bad as some of the others.

Here’s another show from Jordan’s box of tapes. Ah, this one looks pretty good! Well-lit venues are cool.

I was late to the party with Grandaddy but they became my favorite band in the early 00’s. By that time, they had stopped touring so I never got to see them. Then they release “Just Like the Fambly Cat” in 2006 and Jason played a few shows as a promotional tour. This was the last show billed as grandaddy until the reunion shows, 6 years later. I love the acoustic version of “this is where it always starts” on this. Cool cash register and phone sound effects as well.
Oh, I forgot to do anything with this recording before posting it, so there is 20-30 seconds of silence at the start, a big BOOM when I plug/unplug my mics, and the audience clapping is a bit loud. it’s raw- sorry.

Jordan Wolfe stopped by today and dropped off a BIG box of tapes. There is a lot of stuff you will want to see, but this is the one that he wanted to post first. FS at CBGB!
I will let Jordan tell the story(and edit the post here), but he told me that they *really* wanted to play CBGB before it closed. A few months before it was scheduled to shut down, they received a call to open a show. So they did what any reasonable band would do- they drove from California to NYC to play the show!
Transferred from Jordan’s DV master. Audio is distorted, but you get the idea.

Here are the Harlots at the Stone Pony. I had not heard of this band and a discogs search did not yield much either. Does anyone have any info?

OK, back to work. I hope everyone had a happy holiday.
Here’s another one from Jordan Wolfe’s big box o’ tapes. Live videos of these guys from back then seem pretty rare.

Here’s another one from the band’s archive. They played Club Deep on their 2006 tour. The club was right next to the legendary Asbury Lanes , and lighting was provided by a opening the rollup door. That’s punk!
Sorry about the audio quality, I can’t do anything about it.
