Great White- Modesto Centre Plaza 10/27/99 xfer f/8mm Master Video Tape incomplete

Anonymous 2’s collection has not only a ton of local demos, but there are a few videos in there as well! This is one of them.

Warning- even though this is from the master, it sucks pretty badly. The camera is all over the place and rarely hits the stage. When it does hit the stage, the view is obstructed by heads. The audio is distorted. I’m really selling this one! But, it is a newly digitized Great White video from 25+ years ago, if you are into them.

I highly recommend reading the book “Killer Show” which is a clinical takedown of all responsible parties of the Station Night Club fire.. including Great White.

Collections post from Todd Nakamine’s collection today. The broadcast version of this one is already on YT and I wasn’t sure if anyone would want to see this one. I got strong feedback to post it, so here it is. Right off of the VH1 pre-prod VHS tape.

Pennywise- San Francisco, Ca 10/16/99 xfer from 1st/low gen VHS tape pop punk

It’s Friday, time for a video. Along with Gary Shurtleff’s cassettes, I have hundreds of his VHS tapes here. A lot of them are already up on youtube at about the same quality, but this one doesn’t seem to be up there.
I don’t know who filmed this, but it looks like it is right off the master tape. It looks like a Gary camera job, but he didn’t master on VHS in 1999. Maybe it is Dan Nicholson’s, but I thought that Jesse Davis posted all his stuff. If anyone gives me info about the filmer, I’ll update the post. It’s a mystery to me at this point.
Nice camerawork and good sound. Gets better a minute or so in.
