Others have given nice tributes about Neil Peart, I would not be adding anything new with my opinion.
I bought my first DAT recorder in June of 1991, plus I was recording my own shows on DAT– this put me in some good tape trading company- lots of deadheads who also had killer old tapes of other bands, and the upper echelon of tapers at the time. There were a bunch of shows like these being traded around- it was a lot of fun back then… until the bootleggers started go press up CD’s.
