I made sure to leave early enough to catch this set on Saturday. A bunch of friends told me that this is the band to see, and they weren’t wrong. It was pretty comical- when their set started, there was nobody at the stage- maybe 50 people along the front row of this huge stage. I took a picture of the sparse crowd and made a smart ass comment about aftershock attendees having great taste… and Danny Wimmer himself asked me what the hell I was talking about. I guess it’s not a good joke if you need to explain it.
Anyway, more people did show up and this video turned out fantastic- the audio is stellar and the only flaw was me turning the camera off by accident while trying to focus at about 55 seconds in.
