Today’s On This Day in History came about because the show happened to be on the same DAT as that Slobberbone set I posted a couple weeks ago. I listened to this and was like “damn, this sounds pretty good” and then my friend Brian McKenna mentioned that it was a big deal- it was the band’s first show with the original lineup in a long time… over 10 years.
I am not sure who taped this one, but it sounds like a schoeps job. Maybe Teddy, maybe KN, or maybe even the long-hiding Kurt Vogel could be responsible. As always, let me know if you know who taped it so you/they can get credit.
