X- Trocadero Transfer, San Francisco Ca 2/7/98 First full band reunion show DAT clone John Doe Exene

Today’s On This Day in History came about because the show happened to be on the same DAT as that Slobberbone set I posted a couple weeks ago. I listened to this and was like “damn, this sounds pretty good” and then my friend Brian McKenna mentioned that it was a big deal- it was the band’s first show with the original lineup in a long time… over 10 years.
I am not sure who taped this one, but it sounds like a schoeps job. Maybe Teddy, maybe KN, or maybe even the long-hiding Kurt Vogel could be responsible. As always, let me know if you know who taped it so you/they can get credit.

Sister Double Happiness- Trocadero Transfer, San Francisco Ca. 6/12/88 Audio only 1st gen soundboard

This one is unfortunately incomplete. SDH was Gary Floyd (from legendary Texas punk band The Dicks), plus other members of The Dicks and Pop-O-Pies. Radley used this show to fill up the Soulside & Doughboys Gilman soundboard tape. A little reverby, but a decent mix. only about 18min of the set.
