For today’s “On This Day in History”, I decided to pull a DAT that I got from my old friend Alton Purvis. He lived around Jacksonville Fl and would tape show at the Einstein a Go Go there all the time. I remember getting a Yo La Tengo show from this venue from him as well. The venue closed in 1997.
This one sounded pretty nice- bass heavy but not overpowering so I left it as is. The guitar was a bit buried so I izotope’d it and bumped it up a little. I like it better now.
