Taking a break from the move to get this out to you. Making good progress on the unpacking- probably half done now when you factor in all of the stuff that needs to be moved a 2nd time, since the new archive building wasn’t ready on time.

This one is from Anonymous’ collection and he clearly got it from Radley Hirsch. Radley’s tapes had distinct handwriting and sometimes those sweet scratch off block letters. Any Beatnigs mix is going to be challenging and this one was heavy on percussion and vocals. I did what I could to mix in the stringed instruments.

It looks like Michael Franti is hitting Sacramento in October. I wonder if he’ll mix any of these songs in. C’mon, at least Television, right? I am surprised that he is playing the Ace of Spades venue- I thought he was Channel 24 size of a draw.
