Doing these “on this day in history” posts can be tough- I need to check through my lists for something that happened on that day and then look around youtube, live music archive, etc to ensure that the show has not circulated…
Well, this one HAS circulated, but I don’t think it is out there in this quality. The great thing about being one of the early DAT traders was that you were able to get things like this in pristine quality with a well defined lineage (Deadheads would get bored I guess lol). Other posts online of this one are unknown lineage. I have had people tell me “this sounds better than the bootleg cd out there” about other shows and I am like “damn right, this is a clone right off of the DAT master”. That probably applies here.
OK, enough nerding. Here’s a NICE echo and the bunnymen board tape from Nakano Sun Plaza in 84. Enjoy.
