Opening for that Samiam show a couple weeks back were Dead Sound. I have been looking forward to seeing them for a while. This is Bill Schneider’s (PHGP, Monsula, etc) new band along with Mark Lynn (Bill’s bandmate in Uranium 9 Volt), Mike Goshert, and Mack Narragon.
The sound was a little muddy and bassy, a situation that the DPA mics don’t deal with too well. I hope you can find it listenable. They have an LP out on 1234 Go!’s in house label.
