Today’s on this Date in History has a purpose. Justin is the singer and guitarist in one of my all-time favorite Sacramento bands, The Polyorchids. He moved to Washington for work at least 5 years ago so the band, while still a band, do not play much anymore.

The good news is that The Polyorchids are playing a 10th anniversary show at the Press Club in January. I am not missing it and you shouldn’t either. Such a great band, and some of the politically motivated songs are still fully relevant.

Justin, I hope it is ok to post this with kids in the background and all. Let me know if you want it pulled down.
