Bastards of Young- Press Club, Sacramento Ca. 8/16/18 Canon HFG40 Rode Video Pro Stereo Mic LIVE

Bastards of Young are going to Fest in Florida this year! They had a benefit show last Thursday to help with travel. They may need to have another bake sale or 2 for plane tickets, because not enough people showed up to the show. 🙂 I thought they’d pack the place, given that they are well-liked around town AND their members give back to the music community so generously (I’m talking to you, Patrick and Sean). If you want to help support them, grab some merch off of their bandcamp site- I’ll post it in the comments.

Mudhoney- Sub Pop SPF30, Alki Beach, Seattle Wa. 8/11/18 Live Canon HFG40 Rode Video Pro Stereo Mic

When I got to SPF30, there were not many people there.There were probably about 300 people at Metz’ set earlier in the day. By the time Mudhoney took the stage, it was PACKED. I tried to get to the stage and get the band’s attention to do a multicam, but there was no way. After seeing the crowd that was there, I was pretty lucky to do 1 camera. There must have been 3,000 people packed down the street, watching Mudhoney’s set. I still don’t know why they were on the small stage.

Great set.
