I was so lucky to see such a KILLER show at Cafe Colonial on Sunday night. More people need to come out and see what is happening at the Cafe. Great food, great bands in an intimate venue.
First up was Las Pulgas. I had heard a buzz about the band but wow. Intense, angry surfy punk with political & relevant lyrics. They don’t only sing about issues, they are organizing & doing something about them too. Be sure to check them out when they play next. They recently recorded with Patrick Hills so we should be hearing some studio output soon.

PS: Sorry about the audio quality early on. I had not filmed anything in a month and I forgot how the audio recording levels looked on my camera’s screen, so I panicked for no reason. D’oh.
