D.I.- Cornerstone, Berkeley Ca. 9/29/17 LIVE Multicam with Soundboard Audio DI DxIx

Sometimes, everything just falls into place. The band plays well and the crowd goes crazy, which causes the band to increase their energy & play better, etc. You only see shows like this once a year or so. D.I. had a show like that at cornerstone last month. I have been going to D.I. shows since January of 1987, and this was the best non-Agnew show I have ever seen. Filmed with a Canon HFG30, a gopro on stage, and a Canon HFG10 on the balcony. Soundboard recorded with a Sony M10. The only flaw with the video was the vibration on the balcony- it blurs the balcony angle when there is a lot of low end. MUST WATCH.

D.I.- Cafe Colonial, Sacramento Ca. 9/28/17 Multicam

D.I.’s shows in northern california last September were so great. Even with a fill in guitar player, they were at the top of their game. They played an extended set with songs like “no moms”! This show holds special significance to me because it was Jay Pantoja’s last show that he promoted. He retired from doing shows after this one. He passed away a few months later.

HOODS- Boardwalk, Orangevale Ca. 9/27/17 LIVE Multicam Hardcore Canon HFG30 Rode VPS Mic

Man, what a night this was. I got to the venue right when they opened and set up my pole mounts, then went to dinner with my family. On the way home, we ran over a pocket knife/allen wrench and it stuck in our tire. So after dealing with the tire change I got there right before HOODS played. They were great, too bad the attendance was a bit light. We need more people to show up to shows in the suburbs! 4 camera multicam: 2 Canon HFG30, 1 HFG10, 1 Gopro hero 4 silver. Strange Party- Cafe Colonial, Sacramento Ca. 9/15/17 Canon HFG30 Rode Mic LIVE Bat Guano Fest!

Man, what a show. This was the loosest show I have seen them play, and I mean that in a good way. Great performance and Just a lot of fun. They had not played in a couple of months and had no setlist. They played my request, so I went home happy. Thanks Ken! Bat Guano fest continues tonight- head on out! Also, watch Justin’s amazing “beer in the microphone stand” trick in the later part of the show. Amazing!

The Enlows- Cafe Colonial, Sacramento Ca. 9/15/17 Canon HFG30 Rode Mic LIVE Bat Guano Fest!

Hi Everyone, Last night’s bat guano fest was a lot of fun! I got there a little late but was able to catch The Enlows and Strange Party. I urge everyone to go to the show tonight- night 2 of bat guano fest features FRACK! as the headliner. These shows are a benefit for Café Colonial/The Colony. The food is great as well. Head on out!
