This is one that I didn’t film, but I did help coordinate for today’s On This Date in History.

I met Ryan McVay at a 1984 (Crucifix)/Dr. Know/Final Conflict show at The Observatory in 2014. After he saw the meulticam edits of that show, he let us know that he had multiple angles of some shows that needed edit. So I gathered the footage from him and sent it over to my friend punksnotdeadgr to edit.

This one turned out pretty good. I still don’t see how Ryan was able to finagle his way into so many Observatory shows- their security was a bit much.

Ryan told me he retired from filming shows a few years back and then I saw that he posted videos from Big Frank’s memorial. Shoot, I wish I knew he was there, we could have hung out.
