Here’s one that I taped for today’s “On This Day in History”.
TLDR version: Forward 3min for the sound to stabilize.
I almost looked for a different tape since this one is not great quality, but I decided to post this for 2 reasons:
- It seems to correct some documented history of the band. When I was trying to find any info about this show, the internets say that the band broke up in 1995 and reformed in 2002. That’s wrong, as I was at this 1996 show. This must be one of their last shows before the hiatus. It also has at least 1 song that never made an album (Talk Show Murders)
- There are not many Stockton shows on the archive, and none at all from this venue. I was going to reach out to Middagh Goodwin to see if he has any documentation of the show, but I am no longer friends on this new profile. D’oh.
