It’s a semi-late one from Anonymous 2. I was bummed to miss Chalk it Up again this year, but my son and I are laid up with this endless stomach virus. It’s been over a week!

This one is from Anonymous 2’s collection. As you may recall, he has been promoting shows in the Sacramento area for a looong time so he would get a ton of local and regional demo tapes along with some national acts. There is an Electric Eircus from Chico who was a jam band and released a couple of albums a few years after this demo. I think it’s them.

Points that make me think it is the Chico band:

• They are a jam band. Genre fit. That was rare in 94.
• Discogs shows them active at the time- from 1991-2004
• Phone number is in the general area/region

Points that make me doubt it is the Chico band:

• Again, that phone number. Wasn’t Chico 530 area code by then?
• None of these song titles are on any of their 2 released albums.

So, let me know. Same band or no?
Chico band members: Brian ‘Gravy’ Asher, Chris Henderson, Derek Zane, Gary Dutra, Mike Waltz.

EDIT: Yes, this is the Chico band. Thanks to Bill and others for the info: “This lineup is probably Gary Dutra, Saul Henson, Chris Henderson, Mark D’Antonio and Mike Waltz (or was Dave Breed still drumming?)”
