Time for a new contributor to the archive. A couple of weeks back, I stopped by Robert Eggplant’s house in Pinole and picked up a box of 1990s soundboard tapes from Gilman. Knowing I was from Sac, Eggplant put quite a few tapes from Sacramento-based bands. Here is one that I think some of my friends will like a lot.
Tiger Trap were an indie band from Sacramento- Angie Loy, Heather Dunn, Jen Braun, and Rose Melberg were in the band. They released a few things on K records and went their separate ways in the early to mid-90s. I have only heard Mike Siou’s live recordings of the band in Sacramento prior to this, so this is a real treat. Thanks Robert!
