Let’s go back to the first time that I saw (and taped) the Pixies. Man, I used to love that band. Then I thought they were alright until they did Kim Shattuck dirty and then they were dead to me. Haha.

I could never sneak gear into the Warfield. I hated that goddamn place. I was so paranoid that I borrowed Anonymous’ smaller Aiwa rather than take the Sony D6 pro walkman that I had. Or maybe the D6 was in the shop, where it resided for about half its life…

Anyway, got the show recorded and as with most Aiwa tapes, it was clear but a bit thin. It EQ’d pretty well though. Not bad at all.
