Harm Farm were a band from San Francisco- they put out a couple of records on Alias back in the early 90s. They were unique because they played this countryish music, but the lead guitar player had this metal sound (and look) and he and the violin would perform “dueling leads”. Melanie Clarin from Donnaer Party and SF Seals played drums and provided harmony vocals on many songs.
The band is also known for being one of Morgan Fichter’s (Camper Van Beethoven, Janes Addiction, Bedlam Rovers) first bands. Her song “I love your spots” is on the Harm Farm demo and is awesome.
