Today should be Mick Martin Memorial day, but I am bumping that to tomorrow since Dinosaur Jr. is playing Ace of Spades tonight. NEW COLLECTION alert- this is the 3rd of 3 collections that I picked up on the midwest trip a couple weeks back. This comes from my old friend Jim Utz’ cassette collection. We have been friends for 40 years now- we got to know each other from tape trading in 1986 and still chat regularly 40 years later. I can’t think of anyone outside of family that I have been close friends with for so long.

Anyway, Jim has an amazing collection and this is just a tiny part of it- I grabbed some cassettes and videotapes but he has so much more. I hope he starts to share his DAT masters from the St. Louis area in the near future.
