I figured I would take a break from all the Aftershock videos. I need a palette cleanse after so much punk & metal. This should do it.
This was the first time seeing Short Dogs Grow. I traded for a live board tape from Gilman in early 1987 and became a big fan. By the time I saw them, their sound had refined more into the straight rock direction… I know they lost some of the old punk fans at this point but I still loved the band.
This show is kinda funny- I think this is the first time I videotaped at Kennel and I did not realize I could film from the perch above the door, so this one is shot on stage. The original camera audio is beyond awful, so I took a recording made with a consumer Aiwa deck and EQ’d that one. I don’t remember this, but it seems that I left my (actually anonymous’) deck with a random stranger. Thanks for not stealing it!
