This one from Ken Doose’s collection is a bit confusing. The tape says “Race Train KDVS” and it sounds like Race Train Schizo… but this sounds WAY too good to be a live in studio A session. Not bagging on the sessions, I love them, but this sounds like it was a produced demo. It is not the self-titled demo released by the band in 1988. So, wow.
A couple of the guys in this band went on to do more stuff. T-Bone went on to play in Magnolia Thunderfinger. Ronnie Doss went on the play in Seizure Salad, who gained notoriety for having a 7″ illustrated by Mad Marc Rude among other things. They were popular in tape trading circles for sure.
