For today’s On This Date in History, I discovered that at least 1 band’s set from this legendary Rock Against racism show wasn’t on youtube yet. The MDC and Operation Ivy sets are widely circulated, but nobody seems to care about poor old Bo.
Bo had an amazing bay area punk/new wave pedigree. Marc Gunther and Gary Mollica from the early punk/new wave band The Jars formed Bo with Marc Monosonic and Snoopy. They were kinda noise blues/punk. Quite the acquired taste! Btw, the Jars LP was reissued and is really great- check it out.
This is one of the only videos that exist of Bo, I believe.
