We received a new collection recently from Scott Capizzano. Scotty is an old friend- in fact, he crashed the very first concert I held. I had a kegger party in the back yard of my Dad’s house off Mariposa Ave in 1983 or 84. Bodily Harm and Legion played. These older dudes(by a couple years)- one with some pretty cool hair came in after the bands stopped. That’s how I met Scotty. We have been in contact on and off for the past 40 years. He has played drums in a bunch of bands from the 80s on and has most recently been in Circus of Power and The Stoning. His collection has many of his own bands along with others. Lots of metal in his collection with a bias to the glam side.
Here is the first tape I picked out. Raven Slaughter(person) was from Cleveland, then moved to Florida, back to Cleveland, to Los Angeles (which is when this demo was produced), back to Cleveland, then to Montreal. I can’t find any info on him after 2016, when he was supposed to play a show in Cleveland but was too weak from MS to make the trip. I’ll shamelessly tag Ken Dixon/Cleveland Live Music since his friends would probably appreciate this, and maybe fill us in on him post-2016.
Tape seems to be a copy off the master, but quality is a bit lacking. Includes a few live songs recorded to 4 track.
